Verania Andria

Senior Advisor for Sustainable Energy Strategic Programme & Policies

Responsible for overseeing and provide advice to the ACCESS project team, ensuring the project to meet its expected outputs and is impactful for the benefits of all stakeholders. She has been managing sustainable energy programme in UNDP since 2019. She holds Bachelor and Master Degree from Institut Teknologi Bandung and Doctorate in Biotechnology from University for Natural and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria.

Mathilde Sari Gokmauli

National Project Manager

Responsible for managing the overall project and target of the ACCESS Project in Indonesia. She has worked in Indonesia's humanitarian and development sectors for many years, including leading humanitarian relief efforts in Aceh, North Sumatera, and West Sumatera, and managing disaster preparedness and environment projects with several NGO and UN agencies. She holds an M.A. in International Humanitarian Actions (NOHA) from Uppsala University, Sweden, and B.A. in Communication Arts from California Baptist University, USA.

Abdul Owais

Technical Engineer – Solar PV Technology

Responsible to provide technical expertise to the ACCESS project, ensuring quality of the engineering and construction of the communal PV mini-grid in Indonesia and solar water pumping systems in Timor Leste. He has been working as an international energy specialist in UN system since 2018, and managed renewable energy projects in humanitarian and developmental sector. He holds a Master degree in Electrical Power and Control engineering from CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences, Pakistan, and Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering from UET Peshawar, Pakistan.

Aulia Nadira

Technical Analyst – Rural Electrification

Responsible for providing technical expertise on Solar-PV technology selection and engineering design and collaborating with engineers and external partners for project implementation and delivery. She has worked in renewable energy consultancy, including developing many Solar-PV feasibility studies and advising various clients on renewable energy policy aspects. She holds an M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, and a B.Sc. in Electrical Power Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia.

Imas Agustina

Technical Officer of Local Capacity Development

Responsible for managing capacity development program for the local community, including recruitment of local community as operator, technician, and managers of communal Solar-PV developed by the ACCESS Project. She holds a master's degree in Environment from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and a bachelor of engineering in urban planning from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia.

Sugiyanto Sugiyanto

Monitoring Evaluation Analyst

Responsible for providing monitoring evaluation and outreach analysis of project implementation and result achievement. He has worked for development sectors, more specifically in the area of monitoring evaluation research learning and adaptation, for many years across sectors including post-disaster recovery, education, poverty, evidence-based policy, and energy. He holds a master's degree in humanity from Leiden University, Netherlands.

Hery Desha

Project Associate

Responsible for supporting the project team to ensure effective project planning, budgeting, and implementation for the ACCESS Project in Indonesia. He has worked as a finance associate for different international and national NGOs in Indonesia. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Universitas Persada Indonesia, Indonesia.

Felisitas Yola Tampangallo

Project Admin

Responsible as the focal point for administrative, HR, procurement, security, and office coordination of project implementation activities, for the ACCESS Project in Indonesia. She has worked as a finance associate for an IT company and UNDP in Indonesia.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Universitas Trisakti, Indonesia.

Mutia Rahmadina

Project Admin

Responsible as the focal point for administrative, HR, procurement, security, and office coordination of project implementation activities, for the ACCESS Project in Indonesia. She has been working as an administrative associate for UNDP and Marketing Communication Officer for PT Transportasi Jakarta. She holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing Communication from Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia.

Sholihah Rahmatunnisa Utami

Intern

Responsible for outreach through social media, website, and reports by providing publication materials such as photos, design, and articles. She has worked in various types of organization across the environmental landscape, involved in several environment and climate related projects, and actively participated in climate education campaign and advocacy through art and diplomacy. She holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia.

Domingos Lequi Siga Maria

The Head of Unit for Climate Change and Environment

He is the head of Unit for Climate Change and Environment at UNDP Timor-Leste. Prior to joining UNDP in 2021, he worked in Timor-Leste’s oil and gas sector for 13 years holding various senior managerial positions. He also worked as a hydrology research assistant while pursuing his bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii, in Honolulu. As a Fulbright Scholar, he completed his master’s degree in Energy Management ‘with distinction’ from the New York Institute of Technology (New York Tech) in 2009. 

Expedito Belo

National Project Manager

Responsible for managing the overall project and target of the ACCESS Project in Timor-Leste. He has more than 15 years of professional experience with various international agencies such as USAID, United Nations, Development Alternatives, Inc., and currently works for UNDP Timor-Leste as portfolio Project Manager for ACCESS, ATSEA Phase 2, and Global Biodiversity Framework Early Action Support projects. He is a graduate of Charles Darwin University, Australia, with a major in Environmental Science/Management.

Feliciana Maria Correia

Project Facilitator and Engineer

Responsible for facilitating project implementation activities, providing technical support on Solar-PV technology and engineering design, and collaborating with engineers and partners on project implementation and delivery. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Mapúa University, Philippines.

Maria Fatima Kusuma Dias

Project Assistant

Responsible as project assistant and provides technical support on solar PV technology, also covering as a municipal technician in Bobonaro. She has experience in the renewable energy field for some years, working for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in the implementation of renewable energy projects for accelerating electrification in remote areas of Indonesia. She was involved in different community engagement activities, pre-feasibility studies, and surveys related to solar PV in rural villages in Papua. Maria holds a degree in Water Resources Engineering and Management from Institut Teknologi Bandung. She has certification in solar PV and micro-hydro power plants.
 

Domingos do Rego Soares

Municipal Technician

Responsible for Manatuto Municipal technician developed by the ACCESS Project. He has worked in project management with DBTC/ERA-AF (ILO Project) as a training engineer in road construction. He holds a Diploma III in Civil Engineering from Universidade Nasional Timor Loro Sae (UNTL), Dili, Timor-Leste.

Elfansanio Da Costa Silva

Municipal Technician

Responsible as Atauro Municipal technician for the ACCESS Project in Atauro and Dili Timor-Leste. He has over 9 years of experience working in the tourism industry as well as worked in various roles within the private sector and the Timor-Leste government. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management focusing on Tourism and Travel.

Delfina Ferreira

Admin/Finance Associate

Responsible as the focal point for administrative, HR, procurement, and office coordination of project implementation activities for the ACCESS Project in Timor-Leste. She has worked as an administration and finance associate for different international NGOs in Timor-Leste. She holds a bachelor's degree in Management Financial from the Institution of Business, Timor-Leste.
